I stumbled on this and I think this is something I must share…

>

For many of us, when we see a dead animal or accident on the road, most of the time, we slow down not to help but just to take photos and perhaps a number… So its really touching to see how the dog behaves is such kind and loving manner…

Unfortunately, the injured dog died, as reported on this website: http://www.sonnyradio.com/herodog.html

And if you’re wondering how is the Pulau Ketam Dog Rescue Mission, seems like things are looking good. The rescue missions are still on -going. There are many touching stories, including one about Kuning, who had been abandoned on the island but managed to swim away… Kuning plays an important role in the rescue missions…

From Malay Mail

Furry Friends Farm (FFF) principal Sabrina Yeap said that Kuning did not know what the rescue missions were about when they first started on May 2.

“We asked for the fishermen’s help but because of the jellyfish and sea snakes, we had discouraged them to go into the water. Unexpectedly, Kuning swam to the island one day. Some of the dogs there followed him and swam back out. It was as though he understood we were trying to lure out the dogs,” related Yeap.

“The fishermen would then place cages on the boat and coax the swimming dogs into climbing onto the boats and straight into the cages.”
