I have good friends. Even though they leave no comment behind, I know they regularly visit my site. I know because suddenly, they will be asking me about this I have posted here. One example I still remember very well happened a year ago when I posted something about the lunch I had cooked for Mrs Tai and myself. It was just instant noodles. A few days later, this friend saw me online and commented that its not healthy for both myself and Mrs Tai to be just having instant noodles. I told this friend that we don’t have it everyday and told her that I’m glad she’s concerned about us. My friend, you know who you are…
So every now and then, I post photos of my meals so that family and friends who are concerned that we’re not eating right will know what we eat (and perhaps offer suggestions to make it even more wholesome — without having to add meat).
This is what I had for dinner just now…

My dinner which was yee mein – before and after gravy was added
Nice and tasty…
That blob of white and yellowish thingy near the spoon is actually a fried egg. I was trying to make a telur mata kerbau or sunny side up egg. Dunno why it turned out quite badly. I suspect its the pan… (it’s always the tools and never the workman)
I had fenugreek tea to accompany the noodles.

Fenugreek tea is not really a tea
That was not the end… After washing up, I attempted to make Snow Beer again. It was my second attempt. There are a few shops in Malaysia selling snow beer and from what I have been told, it originated from Taiwan.
Snow beer here is actually something like beer-flavoured slurpee. I have tried the snow beer at one of the shops and from what I can see, the beer is still in liquid form when its still in the bottle. But when the beer is poured out into the cold mug, it starts to turn into slurpee (ice).
So I took a bottle of beer, put it in freezer for 40 minutes, took it out, opened it and poured it into a cold mug… This is what I got…

See the bits of snow beer floating on top? I’m almost there!
It is not as good as the one I find at the shops… *sigh*
Well, all the more reason for me to continue buying beer and drinking… All for the sake of perfecting snow beer!
I think I shall NOT check your blog at night, ever again…esp when it’s about bed time for me…Although I doubt I can EVER become a vegetarian (occasionally maybe ok), seeing FOOD this late IS NOT GOOD!!! Even Wii Fit cannot help me if this continues to go on!!!! *shaking head, tummy growling* haiiiyaya!!!
