The transformed garden

A few months back, our garden looked like this…

Green invasion

Before the cut
Mini jungle!

As you know, a few weeks back, we started work on our garden. Well, we didn’t actually do it ourselves… Instead, we outsourced it to two contractors — one for the wall and one for the grass. Here are some photos showing the work done over the past few weeks…

Piling for the wall
Piling works for the wall… Bakau piles were used.

Chain-link fence is down...
No more chain-link fence!

Construction of the wall starts...
Work in progress…

Wall progress at the car porch
More work in progress, this time at the car porch

Wall almost complete...
Almost completed…

Want to know how it all turned out — the wall and the grass? Well…

Wall all done up. Now to work on the grass...
The wall is all done up! Now to green the place with grass…

The front part of the garden
The front part of the garden… Without grass.

And with green grass…

The garden with green, green grass...
We have a TIDY green garden!

Hard to imagine that a few months back, it looks like this…

Before the cut

Now… We just need to get more colours into the garden and it will be DIY this time… :)
