Mrs Tai went for her routine check-up this morning. I accompanied her this time around and got to see the baby through the ultrasound scan. Wow, Mrs Tai was not kidding when she told me after each check-up that the baby is quite active. I got to see it for myself and even the doctor who attended to Mrs Tai commented the same thing. One second baby would have the hands covering the face (shy?!?) and the other second, baby’s hands could be somewhere else…
The checkup at UMMC didn’t take that long this time. We managed to get out of the place before noon and off we went for lunch. After lunch, I asked Mrs Tai if she was up for a movie and she said OK (’ex-gf’ = ‘wife’ la… upgraded from ‘gf’ already ma). So we ended up at GSC 1Utama for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is definitely a feast for the eyes… Lots of action and robots. But I think Michael Bay is killing the Transformers. Aiyoh… Devastator is now a four-legged beast on leash? And a transformer robot that’s a cross between alien monster (from Alien) and alien ‘human’ (from Species)?
Frankly, I felt that this time around, Transformer robots were the extra and the main stars were the American soldiers. The American soldiers defeated the Decepticons with very little help from the Autobots. Somehow, I left the cinema feeling like this is the prequel to the upcoming GI Joe movie (see trailer below)…
Hahaha..same sentiments! Tanks and f14s more powerful than tons of Decepticons??!? In Part 1, one Blackout was enuff to wipe out a whole US military base!

but thomas… wife is wife. wife is not gf. but wife was gf. so technically, wife = x=gf.
but yes, x=gf could also refer to someone else’s wife or a single girl out there…
